Our District is affiliated with The Service Employees International Union, which represents 2 million workers internationally. Workers in SEIU District 1199 are part of SEIU Healthcare, an innovative national approach to healthcare where healthcare workers unite to significantly improve jobs and quality care.

SEIU District 1199 Healthcare is represented by our Long Term Care and Hospital divisions. Additionally, SEIU District 1199 represents public employees through its Public Division.
