As states transition to community-based services systems, funding shortages cause inadequate pay and benefits for workers and high turnover disrupts the continuum of services to people with developmental disabilities.

Together with people with developmental disabilities, family members, advocates, and providers, SEIU developmental disability services workers are improving the quality of services and expanding consumer choices while working for good pay and benefits and secure jobs.
