Over 300 member leaders from across our District joined together at the first meeting in 2010 of our Executive Board with special guests Michael Wayland from Ireland's labor movement, SEIU International Executive Vice President Mary Kay Henry, our own Rev. Harry Proctor and civil rights professors Bill Carter from Marshall University and others.

Members reflected on the labor movement and its impact on civil rights in America, learned of global organizing initiatives, and set a new vision for our Union.
