Congratulations to our SEIU Union sister Senator Sue Morano for having her first bill signed into law on Monday by Governor Ted Strickland. Senator Morano's bill, SB89 - Comprehensive Nursing Education Bill, addresses a critical shortage in nursing educators across Ohio.

Besides her duties in the General Assembly, Senator Morano is also a Registered Nurse who works in the Intensive Care Unit at Community Health Partners Hospital in Lorain.
