Warren County Community Services (WCCS) Growing/Stimulus money is being put to work for SEIU District 1199 members. On Thursday December 17, 2009 workers participated in the groundbreaking celebration for the new South Lebanon Early Learning Center in Warren County. The $2.3 million building will house the new early learning center which will provide jobs and aid in the economic growth of Warren County. The center is scheduled for completion in October of 2010.

In addition, WCCS will be adding eight new bargaining unit positions as soon as possible. Three of the postionis will be Teachers and five will be Home Visit Specialists.

In a time where Head Starts across the state are cutting workers, the addition of eight new positions and a new Learning Center in Warren County is a great accomplishment for the county and SEIU District 1199.
